Candle Care

When burning your candle for the first time please try to burn it for at least 4 to 5 hours so the candle melts all the way across the candle.  This will prevent "tunneling".  If for some reason you can't burn it for the entire time and you do get "tunneling", place a tent over the candle made out of tin foil for a few minutes so the candle can "catch up" and melt.  Also, if it seems to tunnel you can pick up the candle and swirl it so the melted wax drains out of the tunneled area.  When relighting your candle make sure to pick off the black carbon deposit on the wick to avoid black smoke/soot.  The candle will burn cleaner this way.
